JOSEPH ROITNER
Painter
born in Austria, graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts with honour and an M. A. in 1953. Since 1958 in Canada, Toronto. This activity may be observed with 188 Images on my Website under – Joseph Roitner, Canadian Painter.
As early as before my teens, I have used the visual arts to express myself, I have exercised writing, as a complimentary vehicle of mind to formulate opinions that could not be communicated in painting.
While I have used several forms of writings – poems, short stories, essays, articles, plays and published minor items or read on Radio, I make no claim to be a Writer, only that I wrote occasionally in my past; only to nurture my mind or keep ones sanity. And since English is my second language, I am as well aware of my limits. Still, whatever I publish here, together with occasional painted images, is a part of my creative process and view of how I see the world we live in.
